Charity Wiffle Ball Tourney To Benefit Shelton Students

The April event includes a 5K Run/Walk.

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Education Endowment Fund is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk and Community Wiffle Ball Tournament on April 30 to benefit the city's students, according to organizers.

"Join us for the SEEF Community Wiffle Ball Tournament, which is immediately following the 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 30th at Shelton High School Finn Stadium," wrote organizers in a statement. "These events benefit the Shelton Education Endowment Fund."

Costs are $25 in advance for adults ($30 on the day of the event), and $10 for students ($15 day of). Advance registration ends on April 8.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m., and a Student Fun Run begins at 10 a.m.
