Economic Development Commissioner Coming to Shelton

Catherine H. Smith, Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, will visit the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce Friday morning.

"You’ll enjoy learning first-hand how your company can benefit from our popular Small Business Express, Job Expansion Tax Credit, and Subsidized Training and Employment programs – just to name three," according to a press release. 

"And you’ll have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with members of our economic development staff, who can answer any questions you may have."

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, 10 Progress Drive, Second Floor.
