Food Drive
Huntington Congregational Church UCC to host Drive-Thru Food Drive on Sat. March 20
Shelton, CT - Huntington Congregational Church, UCC will host a drive-through style food drive on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The donated food will go to the Valley Food Bank. This is an easy way to help people in our community.
The Valley Food Bank wish list includes: pork & beans, chili, hash, Manwich, hearty soups, pancake syrup, rice, mac & cheese, potatoes (instant & canned), beans (preferably cannellini & kidney), crackers, granola bars, cookies, brownie mix, stuffing mix, tomato/clam/Alfredo sauces. The Spooner House shelter also needs supplies: cleaning solutions, disinfectant spray, Chapstick, toilet paper, trash bags (15 gal).
To donate simply pull into the church parking lot, pop your trunk/hatch. This is a rain or shine event.
