A and S Nathan, K9 Couture Opens in Ansonia

A & S Nathan, formerly run out of a home office in Shelton, has new digs.

It cut the ribbon on its Ansonia location Wednesday at 34 Clifton Ave.

"A&S began over 10 years ago repairing furnaces from a home office in Shelton with a single repair van and now 10 years later we are proud to have over 10,000 customers and nine full time employees," a company official said.

A&S’ general manager, Allen Nathan, is proud of the growth of his “one man operation.”  

"To say that I am proud to be working alongside my two sons Jake & Luke Nathan would be an understatement. It has always been a dream of mine to have my boys and I in a growing and successful business together and all of a sudden here it is," he said.

The service team is made up of a "mix of seasoned veteran technicians and Jake & Luke’s youth help keep us connected to the changes in our industry's technology."

"Our business model has always been 'purchase your fuel from whatever supplier you are comfortable with' (prices can vary approximately $1 per gallon). When you need courteous reliable 24 hour service call A&S Nathan," he said. 

A&S offers service contracts, sales, service & installations of all makes of heating and cooling equipment and oil tank installations and removal.

Nathan added, “I came from less than nothing…..I ran into a neighbor from when I was a little boy, she reminded me when I was six years old I would knock on her door and beg for bread and butter….So to be able to give back and help those that can’t help themselves is truly a blessing and I am so happy to do it.”
