Man Arrested at Court on Burglary Charges

Tony Barros Fernandes, 33, of Shelton Avenue, is charged with third-degree burglary, credit card theft, illegal use of credit card and sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Fernandes was arrested at Derby Superior Court Nov. 22 on a warrant alleging that he broke into a car Sept. 21.

Fernandes is accused of stealing a wallet, loose change and a cell phone from car. He was later caught on a store camera using the stolen credit card, police said.

His bond was set at $5,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
