Naugatuck Valley Health District Seeks Per Diem Sanitarian
The licensed sanitarian would conduct inspections of food service establishments and temporary food events.
SEYMOUR, CT — The Naugatuck Valley Health District is looking to hire a per diem sanitarian who would conduct inspections of food service establishments and temporary food-related events throughout the district, officials announced.
Specific pay information was not disclosed, but officials said the job "has a competitive salary commensurate with experience and education." The job would require up to 21 hours per week, of which the hours would be flexible.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in public health or environmental health or a related field, officials said, and applicants also must be "fully certified in food service inspections by the State of Connecticut and hold a valid CT motor vehicle license."
