Obituary: Charlotte A. Szabo

Charlotte A. Szabo, age 94, of Shelton entered into rest on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was the devoted wife of 30 years to Lajos Szabo. Charlotte was born in Shelton, on May 30, 1927, daughter of the late Frank and Katarzyna (Ozimek) Lachowski and was a lifelong Shelton resident.

She was a self employed Real Estate Broker at Atlas Real Estate for many years prior to her retirement. Charlotte enjoyed bowling and Ballroom dancing where she and her husband made many friends. She also enjoyed traveling, estate sales and trips to Goodwill.

Charlotte was the beloved mother of Walter Kosiorowski, Stephen F. Kosiorowski and his wife Donna, Katherine Kosiorowski-Boger and her husband Michael and Henry Kosiorowski and his wife Ann and loving grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by a grandchild and a brother and three sisters.

Her funeral services were private.
