Sabrije Ballabani, age 64, of Woodbridge, entered into rest on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. She is the devoted wife of 40 years of Shpend Ballabani. Sabrije was born in Montenegro on May 15, 1957, daughter of the late Sali Cela and Xhevahire Hoxha.
She is the cherished mother of Hartin Ballabani and his wife Malvina and Gisela Ballabani, and loving grandmother of Ledina and Aldo Jani and Marley, Amaya, and Lorik Ballabani.She also leaves a brother, Agron Cela, and four sisters, Shpresa Cela, Rushe Hima, Drita Gashi, and Manushaqe Dinaj.
Friends are invited to greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Sunday from 2 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 to 11:45 AM. Her procession will then depart for burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
