Jenisse Pierre-Louis, 25, of Walnut Street, New Haven, is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said Pierre-Louis worked for a 72-year-old woman and took out extra money after she was asked to withdraw money for the victim.
Her bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
