Raquel R. McDonald, 26, of Ridgefield Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with issuing a bad check and sixth-degree larceny.
Police said McDonald wrote a check for $760 to Hawley Lane Shoes in September, and the check bounced.
Her bond was set at $500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
