John Edmund Burns, 37, of Scofield Place, Norwalk, is charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening.
Police said Burns texted the victim on Dec. 6, "I'll get you."Â
His bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.Â
