
Two people were charged recently with DUI in Shelton.
Richard C. Tolla, 45, of Derby, is charged with DUI and failure to drive right.
Police said a car was reported driving erratically on Hawthorne Avenue near Howe Avenue. Tolla failed field sobriety tests, police said.
His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
In a separate incident, Anthony Michael Rocco, 37, of Hunter Ridge Road, was charged with unsafe backing and DUI. Police said he backed into the drivers side of a car at the Riverdale Restaurant.
His bond was set at $500.
