Shelton Daycare Closing, Parents Trying To Find Other Care
Parents have a little more than a month to find alternative care for their children.
SHELTON, CT — Parents at a Shelton daycare are now scrambling to find alternative care after it was announced that Building Blocks Early Learning Center would close Dec. 20.
Parents were told about the closure Nov. 5, according to the Connecticut Post. They are reimbursing parents if they find other care before Dec. 20 for any unused time.
Company officials said the facility is closing because it wasn't financially sustainable.
