Shelton Keeps Top 10 Position In Girls Soccer Poll

The Gaels concluded their regular schedule with a 14-1-1 record.

SHELTON, CT — An unbeaten regular season lifted Glastonbury High School back into the top position in the most recent Class LL/L girls soccer coaches poll.

The Tomahawks (15-0-1) moved up a spot from last week, switching places with previous No. 1 St. Joseph (13-1-2). Staples (13-0-3) held on to the No. 3 ranking.

Shelton (14-1-1) kept its spot at No. 6.

Granby Memorial High School (15-0-1) maintained the top position in Classes M/S.

Brackets for the CIAC state tournaments will be released Friday.
