Shelton Man Charged with DUI in Naugatuck
Naugatuck police say the incident occurred on Nov. 22 at 1:32 a.m.

A Naugatuck police officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street at 1:32 a.m. on Nov. 22 which led to the arrest of Eric Nichio, 25, of 135 Mill St. in Shelton, according to a statement by police.
Officers discovered Nichio to be allegedly under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Nichio is charged with traveling unreasonably fast for conditions, failure to obey control signal, and operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Nichico was released on $1,000 bond and given a court date of Dec. 3.
