Shelton Mom Searches For Mysterious Good Samaritan
A Shelton woman was rescued by a mysterious stranger after her car flipped over on the Merritt Parkway. She's trying to track him down.
SHELTON, CT — A single working mom from Shelton is searching for the man who pulled her from harm's way after her car flipped over on the Merritt Parkway.
Leigh Deppe, 35, told News 12 Connecticut she was stunned, disoriented, suffering from a head injury and nearly stepped into oncoming traffic when a man came to her aid. She had been traveling northbound around 7 a.m. Friday, near the Woodbridge-Orange line.
The man treated her and kept her safe until an ambulance arrived to bring her to the hospital, according to News 12.

Deppe told News 12 her Good Samaritan's last name was Gilbert, looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s, was wearing military fatigues, driving a black-colored SUV, and was from Norwalk.
