Shelton PD Fires Sixth Officer In Recent Weeks
The department has terminated 13 percent of its sworn officers in seven weeks.

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Police Department fired its sixth officer in recent weeks after an internal investigation.
About 13 percent of the department has been terminated in the past seven weeks, according to the Shelton Herald.
Officer Daniel Loris was fired in connection with an investigation into officers changing their clothes in the department parking lot; three officers have been fired as part of the investigation. The police union plans to file a grievance over the firing.
