SHELTON, CT — Shelton Police announced that power restoration efforts in the city won't begin until 6 a.m. tomorrow.
There are 1,081 United Illuminating customers without power as of 10 p.m. That is nearly six percent of town.
Several trees and wires are down throughout town. Shelton Police advise residents to stay off the roads until they are cleared.
