SHELTON, CT — Shelton Public Schools will be closed Monday Feb. 1 due to the pending snowstorm.

Snow likely, mainly after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Light east wind becoming northeast 10 to 15 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 29. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Windy, with a northeast wind 17 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Monday Night
Periods of snow. Low around 29. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Windy, with a northeast wind 23 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
