Shelton School System Receives English Learners Grant
The Plumb Library and the Boys & Girls Club of Shelton​ are also part of the effort.

SHELTON, CT — The city's school system is receiving a $2.4 million grant from UCLA and the federal government to assist with English language instruction to younger learners, reports the Shelton Herald.
Shelton, which has a relationship with the UCLA team responsible for the grant, will use the money to expand the number of schools with English language instruction, among other project efforts.
The Plumb Library and the Boys & Girls Club of Shelton are also part of the effort, as both will host programs geared toward families of English language learners, according to the publication.
