Shelton Woman Burglarized Business In North Haven: Police

The woman was arrested on a warrant in connection with an overnight burglary in North Haven, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Shelton woman is accused of burglarizing an automotive business in North Haven in April, according to police.

Police responded to the business on Whitney Avenue around 4:15 a.m. on April 17 on the report of a burglary.

Officers found that the suspect had already fled the area. Holli Tapley was identified as the suspect after officers spoke with the owner/staff, police said. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Tapley.

Tapley, 42, was arrested Thursday while she was incarcerated on unrelated charges, according to police.

She was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
