Matthew Miner, 20, of Nichols Avenue, is charged with first-degree criminal trespass and interfering with an officer.
Police investigating a break-in Shelton Square Nov. 11 found Miner in Olympia Sports. He matched a description of the suspect, police said.
Miner fled when approached, but was eventually caught, police said.
His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
