Team Goldman to Partner with Adam’s House for The Great Give®
Shelton Charitable Group Donates to Adam's House for Annual Online Giving Event

Shelton based grief center, Adam’s House, will partner with charitable group, Team Goldman, a division of Barnum Financial Group, to kick-off the non-profit’s Memorial Garden Capital Campaign during The Great Give® on May 4th & 5th. With a generous matching gift from Team Goldman, each donation will be matched up to $1500 throughout the 2-day event.
The Great Give® 2021 is the twelfth major community-wide giving event benefiting Greater New Haven's nonprofits and occurring over an intense 36 hours from 8:00 a.m. on May 4 to 8:00 p.m. on May 5, 2021. The Great Give® was created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven through its online resource known as giveGreater.org® to strengthen nonprofits serving Greater New Haven by advancing knowledge about their work and increasing giving to their organizations. More than $13.5 Million has been raised since The Great Give® began.
Adam’s House is open to serve bereaved children ages 5-18 and their caregivers, in the form of an 8-week peer support group called ‘Helping Hearts Heal’, which is offered free of charge. The Memorial Garden will be a purposeful space where ‘Helping Hearts Heal’ program families will have the option to gather outdoors weekly, plant flowers and memorial rocks, and engraved bricks as a public testament to those they have lost.

“As we continue to support the community in which we operate, we are honored to partner with Adam’s House for the Memorial Garden campaign launch. This outdoor space is so important to grieving children and families in this community, and it is our hope that these matching funds will incentivize others to donate to this unique Capital Campaign,” said Caroline McCormack, Business Operations Coordinator, Team Goldman.
“Our vision is to create a special garden for our “Helping Hearts Heal” families and the community at large. In addition to being utilized for our program, community members will have the opportunity to reserve the space to assemble for special events, meetings, and celebrations. We are incredibly grateful to Team Goldman for this generous gift, and are confident that with the help of our supporters, every dollar donated will be matched up to $1500 to help us reach our $10,000 goal,” said Allison Wysota, Adam’s House Executive Director.
