Police Identify 2 Killed In Shelton Crash: UPDATE
Shelton police said two people were killed and three others were injured in a crash on River Road.

SHELTON, CT — Two people were killed after a crash on River Road Sunday night, according to police. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. near Southbank Park.
A BMW 5 Series sedan with four occupants and a Toyota RAV4 with one occupant were involved in the crash, said Shelton police Detective Christopher Nugent.
The two people killed in the BMW were identified as Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia. They were declared dead at the scene. Two other occupants from the BMW were taken to area hospitals; one remains in critical condition and the other was treated and released.

The driver of the RAV4 was evaluated at the scene and released.
Route 110 was closed until 7 a.m. Monday morning.
