Two Shelton Firefighters Injured Battling Chimney Fire
Two firefighters sustained minor injuries while extinguishing a chimney fire in Shelton.
SHELTON, CT — Two firefighters sustained minor injuries while battling a chimney fire on Big Horn Drive Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to the blaze shortly before 11 p.m. and found fire coming out of the top of a residential chimney. The fire didn't extend beyond the chimney.
Crews inside the home and on the roof coordinated to unclog an insert and extinguish the fire.
