Water Main Break Reported in Shelton Friday: Aquarion

SHELTON, CT — Crews were dispatched to Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton on Friday morning to repair a 16-inch water main that broke, according to Aquarion Water Co. officials.

Approximately 40 customers were affected by the break, which was announced by the company just after 10 a.m. The break occurred near 700 Bridgeport Ave.

The company expected to have water service restored sometime between noon and 2 p.m.
