Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Derby
A Derby resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
DERBY, CT — A Derby resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On May 7, John Marganski claimed a winning 20X CASH 6th Edition ticket he purchased Derby Cigar Shop, Inc., on New Haven Avenue.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in December 2020, and as of Monday, 49 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed. More than 2.1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
