At first, I thought it was too early to share info on where you can cut your own Christmas trees in Connecticut. But then, I read aFacebook post from Jones Family Farm in Shelton that said people are already asking when tree cutting begins!
Then friends started making holiday playlists and talking about eggnog … it appears people are already hankering for the holidays — or at the very least, preparing for them! Here’s your list of Christmas tree farms in Fairfield County.

Easton
- Everett's Corner Tree Farm
- Opening Date: Friday after Thanksgiving: Nov. 29 and 30; Dec. 1; Weekends of Dec. 7 through Dec. 15
- Hours: 9 a.m. to dusk.
- Maple Row Tree Farm
- Opening Date: Day after Thanksgiving
- Hours: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily
Newtown

- Paproski's Tree Farm
- Opening date: Nov. 23
- Hours: 9 a.m. to dusk on the weekends; 1 p.m. to dusk on the weekdays; 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 24
Redding
- Paradise Tree Farm
- Opening Date: Day after Thanksgiving
- Hours: 9 a.m. until dark
Shelton
- Jones Family Farms
- Opening Date: Saturday before Thanksgiving
- Hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Closed Thanksgiving (Arrive by 4 p.m. to cut your own tree.)
