Chloe Williams and Adam Skow were selected this year from Pomperaug High School to receive the 2020 Mike Savage Exemplary Unified Teammate Award, presented to a Unified Sports® athlete that exemplifies sportsmanship, enthusiasm and teamwork. The award is typically presented at the Unified Sports Michaels Cup Banquet.

Chloe Williams has been an enthusiastic and positive player for multiple Unified Sports over the last 3 years. Chloe is always warm and welcoming with everyone she meets and consistently willing lead events and projects related to the Unified Team. This year, Chloe showcased her artistic talents, designing and decorating the Unified Team’s new trophy case and by designing the Penguin Plunge team shirts this year.
Adam Skow has grown in leaps and bounds on the Unified Sports team over the last year. Adam began as the team manager last spring and by the end of the fall season, he had a spot on the Unified soccer team. Over this past winter, Adam demonstrated consistent growth and with increased confidence he became a formal and valued member of our Unified Basketball team, who is always enthusiastic and ready to play.
