2021 Summer Concert Series In Southbury Starts Monday
The town's Parks and Recreation Department will host four, Monday evening concerts on the Town Hall Green from July 12 through Aug. 2.
SOUTHBURY, CT — Four concerts are scheduled for the Town Hall Green on Mondays from July 12 through Aug. 2, as the Southbury Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series returns in 2021.
"Families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy a wide variety of performances, which will range from classic rock to blues, country, Motown, jazz, and soul," organizers wrote on the town's website.
The shows will begin at 6 p.m. on Mondays, and will be canceled in the event of rain.

Scheduled to perform are:
- ’60s Satisfaction, July 12
- The Potentials, July 19
- The Rakes, July 26
- Rubber City, Aug. 2
"We’re very pleased to bring back the concerts for the community this year - we know our residents have missed them!" said Michael Ganem, director of Southbury Parks and Recreation, in a statement.
