Abigail Disney to Speak at Women’s Giving Celebration

Tickets are available for the June 8 event at Heritage Hotel in Southbury.

From Connecticut Community Foundation: The Women’s Fund of Connecticut Community Foundation invites the public to “Women Give! Your Inspiration. Your Values. Your Impact” on June 8 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Heritage Hotel, 522 Heritage Road in Southbury.

Abigail Disney, filmmaker, philanthropist, and CEO and president of Fork Films, will headline the evening exploring and celebrating women’s giving. Also featured will be a discussion led by Jill Faherty Lloyd of Evercore Wealth Management about the role values play in transforming women’s inspiration into meaningful impact on the causes they care about most.

All are welcome for this ticketed event which includes dinner and drinks.
