Amazon Delivery Driver Steals Woman's Purse: Southbury PD
He delivered a package and took the victim's purse, police said.
SOUTHBURY, CT — A Bristol man was arrested after he stole items from a woman who was picking up an Amazon delivery, according to police.
The 69-year-old victim parked her car Feb. 4 on Hemlock Ridge Roadand was gone for a few minutes while she retrieved the package. She came back to her vehicle and noticed items were missing.
Police identified the driver as Andre Brooks, 27. He confessed to stealing the purse from the woman's vehicle after he made the delivery, police said. Amazon personnel also came to the scene to help police.

Brooks was arrested and was released on a $2,500 bond.
