Cat Adoption Center Expanding In Southbury: Report
A fundraiser for the renovation project is planned for next month.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Whiskers Animal Rescue will be moving into a much larger space in Bennett Square on Main Street South, the Republican-American reports.
The cat adoption center currently has 800-square-feet of space at 134 Main St. South but it needed more and renovations are underway to expand the space to 3,000-square-feet. Whiskers is taking on some of the space from Calvary Chapel.
A fundraiser benefit for the construction project is being held on Oct. 14. For more details www.whiskerspetrescue.org.
