Construction To Close Portion Of Bucks Hill Road In Southbury
State officials say the repair work will close a portion of Bucks Hill Road over I-84 from March 22 to Nov. 22.
SOUTHBURY, CT — Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury will be closed for construction from March 22 to Nov. 22, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The eight-month-long construction project calls for the replacement of what the state refers to as Bridge 01157, the span that carries Bucks Hill Road over I-84.
Signage will be erected to divert traffic to Old Waterbury Road, Munn Road and Route 188.

The project, No. 0080-0131, was awarded last year to Rotha Contracting Company, Inc., and it will cost $9.75 million.
