Jud Caswell Concert, Tour a Local Geological Treasure

Here's a look at a few things happening around town on Tuesday, July 30: 

• Jud Caswell, who performs on guitar, banjo, cittern, whistle, bodhran, uke, and whatever other instruments he can get his hands on, will perform at The Gatehouse Café at 6:30 p.m. 

• Carol Haskins of the Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition will lead a fascinating tour of a local geological treasure known as the Manville Kettle, a 6.5 acre Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust property in neighboring Woodbury. 

• Understand Joint Replacements and orthopedics with this session at the Woodbury Senior Center hosted by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and presented by Woodbury resident and Orthopedic Surgeon David Freccero, M.D., of CHH Joint Replacement and Orthopedics Center.
