Man, 85, Killed After Being Hit By Car On I-84 In Southbury

State Police said the man was involved in an accident and got out of his car and was walking on the highway at the time of the accident.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Ronald Shaw, 85, of Holmes, New York was killed when he was struck by a car on Interstate 84 in Southbury on Christmas Eve, according to NBC CT.

Police said Shaw's car crashed around exit 16 at 5 p.m. and after the accident he walked onto the highway and was struck by a car.

State Police are investigating.
