More Utility Company Boots On The Ground In Southbury
Eversource has reported that 99 percent of the town will see their power restored by noon Tuesday.
SOUTHBURY, CT — There is a marked increase in the number utility crews for power restoration in town, officials are reporting.
The power in Southbury remains on track to be restored to within 1 percent of all residences by noon Tuesday, according to a report from Eversource.
The town is opened a cooling station at the Senior Center at noon Monday, until 4 p.m. The Center will also be open as a cooling station Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Southbury Public Library will be increasing its patron limits to 35 starting Wednesday. All other restrictions/rules remain in place.
Potable water stations at the Town Hall and Senior Center and a non-potable water station at the Firehouse on Main Street South remain open 24/7 for resident access, town officials reported. There are also charging stations at Town Hall, the Senior Center/Parks & Rec and the Public Library.
