SOUTHBURY - Carol Raciti, 81, departed this life on April 3, 2020, in Danbury, CT. Carol was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Raciti. Carol was born in New York City (Bronx) on March 20, 1939, to Peter and Margaret (Garzia) Carlino.
She went to school at Evander Childs High School in the Bronx. She married Salvatore Raciti on June 18, 1960 in Yonkers, NY. Carol and Sal resided in Yonkers, NY from the early 1960's to 1995. In 1995 they moved to Heritage Village in Southbury, CT. Carol greatly enjoyed being part of the "Village" and participated in various activities and clubs over the years, such as the Italian American Club.

Carol is survived by her three sons and their wives: John & Deborah, Robert & Christine, and Gregory & Terri Raciti; and her eight grandchildren: Lauren, Krista, Andrew, Sara, Mary Grace, Robert, Therese, and Catherine Raciti.
Unfortunately, due to the current Coronavirus situation, a Mass of Christian Burial will not be held and services will be private. Memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury, CT 06488.
