Timothy J. Smith, age 68, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital. Born April 17, 1951 in Waterbury, the son of Daniel J. and Margaret B. Smith. Tim was a resident of the the Southbury Training School Cottage 34.

Tim is survived by his brothers Bill Smith of Waterbury, Ct., Michael Smith of Seattle, Wa., his sisters Betty Rendino of North Bennington, Vt., Maureen Motherway of North Kingston, R.I., Kathi Smith and Carol Kaye both of Waterbury, Ct., and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Margaret and brothers Stephen and Danny.

A funeral mass will be Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11 AM at St Peter and St Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT. Burial will be immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Tims memory to Home and School Association of the Southbury Training School, P.O. Box 872, Southbury, CT 06488.
