PHS Boys Swim Team Class M State Champions
Pomperaug Boys High School Swim Team's recent Class M State Championship Title.

From Pomperaug Schools: The Pomperaug Boys High School Varsity Swimming and Diving team was recognized at the March 25th , 2019 Region 15 Board of Education meeting for winning the 2019 Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) Class M State Swimming and Diving Championship.
This marks the 16th State Championship title under the direction of Fran Pentino, now in
his 26th year as Head Coach of the program. In addition, the team won the South West Conference Swimming and Diving title and was undefeated during the regular season with a record of 10-0. Lee McClintock is the Diving Coach and Assistant Coaches are Bill Hahn and Alan Green. The following swimmers were recognized this season with All-State honors: Nathan Crane, K.C. Green, Nate Hudson, Colin Mackellar, Jack Moran, Connor Nee, Sai Quesenberry, Billy Regan, Eric Rosenhein and Steven Sullivan. “This is a tribute to the time, hard work, and dedication put forth by our student-athletes and our fine coaching staff,” said Ron Plasky, Region 15 Director of Athletics, Health and Physical Education.
