Pomperaug Keeps Top 10 Spot In High School Field Hockey Poll
The Panthers concluded the regular season with a 13-1-2 record.

SOUTHBURY, CT — As regular season play concludes and the pairings for the CIAC state field hockey tournaments are set to be made, the Staples High School team will enter postseason play by remaining the unanimous top choice of voters in the weekly coaches poll.
The Wreckers (16-0) were named first on all seven ballots to lead the voting for the sixth straight week. The top seven teams remained intact from last week, with Cheshire (16-0) second and Granby Memorial (15-1) placing third.
Pomperaug High School (13-1-2) maintained its position in the sixth spot.
