Ragtime Band, Tractor Mac and More

Here's a look at a few things happening around town on Thursday, July 25: 

• Local children’s author Billy Steers and his title character, Tractor Mac, will be visiting the Southbury Farmers’ Market from 3 - 6 p.m. on the Southbury Town Hall lawn. 

• "The Gordon Stout Marimba Ragtime Band" will play a free show at the Southbury Green Gazebo from 6 - 8 p.m. The band plays piano music from the 1920's, arranged for xylophone, marimba and percussion.

• PHS student Chris Fernandes will lead an improvisational acting class in an informal group setting at the Southbury Public Library at 6 p.m. for students in grades 6-12.
