Southbury, Connecticut – Eclipse 6 will perform at 4:00 PM, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury. The church is located at the corner of Main Street South and Route 172, just off Exit 14 from I-84.
Eclipse 6 is an a Cappella group comprised of six talented vocalists – Paul Hansen, Kevin Jones, Jake Sepain, Dan Kartchner, Shayne Taylor and James Case. The a Cappella group encompasses a variety of genres including faith-based originals to covers of popular songs. In 2002 the group performed during the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. Following their remarkable performance, Eclipse 6 was asked to join Larry King and Toby Keith at the “Stadium of Fire”, a Fourth of July celebration at Bringham Young University. Since then, the group has released a total of 6 albums and toured North America and Asia. Eclipse 6 appeals to all ages and is set to perform a dynamic concert. We encourage the entire community to join us for a spectacular performance by this internationally known group!
Sacred Heart is excited to present Eclipse 6 in honor of the memory of Mrs. Janet Towey Mann, a longtime Sacred Heart parishioner and choir member. Upon her passing in 2011, Janet made a bequest to the Music Ministry to help perpetuate the many ways we all experience Christ through music. This event is free and open to the public. A light reception will follow.
