The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled closure and detour of Bucks Hill Road over I-84 in Southbury to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 01157 carrying Bucks Hill Road over I-84. The road closure and detour are scheduled to commence on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 7:00 AM, and will remain in place until Monday, November 22, 2021, at 7 AM.
Traffic will be detoured and directed with signage using Old Waterbury Road, Munn Road and Route 188.

Project No. 0080-0131 was awarded to Rotha Contracting Company, Inc. at a cost of $9,748,538.80 on November 4, 2020, and is scheduled to be completed by November 11, 2022.
