Security Guard Stabbed At Southbury Housing Complex: State Police
The guard was stabbed in the neck, but reportedly is expected to recover from his injuries.

SOUTHBURY, CT — A security guard at the Heritage Village senior living complex in Southbury suffered injuries Saturday when he was stabbed in the neck by an assailant who was later arrested, according to Connecticut State Police.
Arrested a short while after the afternoon attack was Adam E. Voss, 39, who lives in the complex. He was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief and attempt to commit a crime.
The attack occurred at about 2:30 p.m. while the security guard, 24, was sitting in his vehicle.

He was treated in a nearby hospital and is expected to make a recovery, writes the Republican-American.
Voss reportedly said "they are really selling out the world" when he attacked the victim, and he carved his name on the roof of the vehicle.

Details of Voss' arrest were not disclosed, but he was held in lieu of bail of $750,000, and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
