Southbury Eyes Fun Way to Revitalize Park: Report
A new game may soon be coming to a park in town.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Town officials have a cool idea on how to revitalize Hidden Pond Park on Bucks Hill Road. The Republican-American says recreation officials are looking to create a new disc golf course there, which means be prepared to see a lot of frisbees in the air.
The Parks and Recreation Commission plans to fund the $5,000 cost from its own account and create a 9-hole disc golf course, the Rep-Am reports. The way the game works is that you have toss the disc into a basket and the winner is determined by who can do it in the fewest throws possible. The game is geared toward young and old and would also give area youths an activity that is both fun and would promote a healthy lifestyle.
