Southbury Fall Athletes Playing at In-State Division I Schools

SOUTHBURY, CT — More than 300 student-athletes from Connecticut, including four from Southbury, are continuing their academic and sports endeavors at one of the state's seven Division I universities this fall, based on rosters provided by those institutions.

A total of 356 competitors have chosen to stay close to home while participating in 13 Division I fall sports. Danbury has 13 student-athletes on in-state D-I rosters, while Glastonbury has 12 and Norwalk and Shelton each have 10.

Following are breakdowns by university, by county and by sport, with links to the home pages of each school's athletic department. Note: several rosters for men's cross country and women's swimming, cross country, rowing, rugby and bowling had not yet been made available by publication time.
