Southbury Frozen Yogurt Shop Heads Into First Summer

Although the Main Street business opened its doors in October 2012, D-Yo Frozen Yogurt held its Grand Opening this past weekend.

With a newly placed sign along Main Street and the unofficial start to summer in the rear view, the small Southbury business is ready to hit the ground running featuring a wide variety of rotating flavors and an extensive toppings bar that is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth in town.

“Our flavors are changed every few weeks,” said store employee Tomomi Miyota. “We try new flavors and gauge what does well and what people like.”

The most popular flavors Miyota added are Sweet Coconut and Banana Chocolate, but the newest flavor, Hawaiian Pineapple, is pleasing palates in the early going as well.
