Southbury Man Charged With DUI After Accident In Milford: Police
Police say the accused also had a loaded firearm in his vehicle at the time of the accident.

MILFORD, CT — A Southbury man is accused of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of a motor vehicle accident in Milford, police said. Police also said he had a loaded firearm in his vehicle at the time of the accident.
On May 19, officers responded to the intersection of Merwin Avenue and Oxford Road for a motor vehicle accident, police said.
Investigation led to the arrest of Mark Panzenbeck, 38, of Flag Swamp Road in Southbury, who was found to be the at-fault driver in the accident and is accused of driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Panzenbeck provided a breath sample, which showed him to have an elevated blood alcohol content, police said. Further investigation showed Panzenbeck to be in possession of a loaded firearm at the time of the accident, police said.
He is changed with DUI and carrying a firearm under the influence. He was released after posting a $500 bond.
