SOUTHBURY, CT — A Southbury man has been arrested on accusations that he embezzled funds from the Pomperaug Gridiron Club, an organization dedicated to raising money for the Pomperaug High School football team, according to police.

Erik Gran, 48, of 1116 River Road, was charged with second-degree larceny. The arrest comes after two years of investigation.

He was released on a promise to appear in Waterbury court Dec. 2.
